YEM returns with an exclusive interview with Emily Wiseman, who stars as Claire from the film, The Offering! For those who need a refresher on the film, the film stars a family dealing with loss, and they find themselves haunted by an ancient demon trying to destroy them. This movie borrows elements of Hasidic faith and blends this thriller-horror genre with human drama.

We briefly ask Emily about who she had to coordinate with the most in the Offering. She informs us that she spent the majority of her time with the Abyzou. For Emily as Claire, the most important thing was ensuring to arrive in each scene in the physical state that she would be in, such as taking note of the high stakes and high emotion in the scene. For that, Emily makes sure that she has 30 minutes before a shooting where she can cultivate that sense of fear and the stakes that are behind it. She uses a lot of music and psychological gestures to do so, but besides that, the other person she also coordinated with the most was Nick Blood.

YEM returns with an exclusive interview with Jahi Winston, who stars as the main protagonist Kevin Presley from the recent film, We Have a Ghost! For those who need a refresher on the film, the film stars the Presley family as they had recently moved into a new house. The house is haunted by an apparition named Ernest (portrayed by David Harbour), and when the ghost becomes an overnight sensation on social media, Kevin and Ernest realize that they've become targets of the CIA. Not only do they need to escape them, but they also start investigating the mystery of Ernest's past.

We briefly ask Jahi about his scenes with Anthony and if it was intimidating or challenging to build a father-son rapport. Jahi mentions that it was great, and mentions that they discussed the dynamics of the characters and the family during rehearsal. He thought playing the dynamics between Anthony's and Niles' characters was cool to play as Kevin and mentions that they fell into that sort of dynamic off-set as well. They would have these discussions together with Erica, and the debate would end with Jahi and Erica on one side, with Anthony and Niles on the other. Jahi states that they fell into the family dynamic easily, and talks about how Chris did a great job putting a family together and having everyone bond.

YEM returns with an exclusive interview with Arielle Jacobs, who starred as Delilah in the musical, Between the Lines. For those who need a refresher on her background, Arielle starred in several musicals such as In the Heights, Wicked, Into the Woods, and the stage play of High School Musical.

We briefly ask Arielle what the process of morphing herself into the character of a 17-year-old girl, was and if there were any challenges. Upon being asked this question, Arielle mentions it was like playing as a 17-year-old version of herself. She felt like she remembered what it was like to be a 17-year-old, sometimes to her it still feels like she's 17, and to her, it felt fun to be able to step back into the shoes of what it was like when she was in high school. She mentions that when she was 17, she did move into a whole new school. As the new kid and being part of a whole new school, it really felt as if she was a part of Delilah's journey.

For those who need a refresher on her character, Abby is a character who struggles with her body image and struggles to cope with her parent's divorce. She is often seen being antagonistic toward Ginny and is considered rude and selfish at times.

We briefly ask Katie what it was like to be frenemies with the cast in Season 2, despite having a close connection with the cast in real life. Katie jokingly replies by saying that there's a "deep-seated hatred for each other, so much so that they included it in Season 2". Jokes aside, Katie does answer that it was hard. She remembered when she initially got the script, and she was talking about it with the other cast members, she felt crummy as it was written.

YEM returns with an exclusive interview with Kristen Cui from the film, Knock on the Cabin, which was recently released on February 3rd! Be sure to check the movie out!

For those who need a refresher, Knock at the Cabin stars Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge, and our interviewee, Kristen Cui as a family vacationing in rural Pennsylvania. Things take a turn for the worse when the members are held hostage by four strangers and are informed that one of them must die to stop the apocalypse.

In our interview with Kristen, we discussed numerous topics with her, such as what her favorite scene is in the film. She's unsure, but there was one emotional scene that she enjoyed when she and the cast were walking out of the house in the heavy rain. She mentions that it was depressing, but the emotion was held very high, and she thought that scene was very inspirational. We briefly ask Chelsea what the response to the show was like for her on Season 2. Chelsea has stated that it was overwhelming but in the best possible way. The amount of support amazes Chelsea, and what she loves the most is that there's such a large, woman's audience for this show. To her, it goes to show that if you're going to make content that people are going to watch, "people are going to watch that content, because not every show needs to circle whatever Top 10 things that people think wants to watch", according to her. She considers it wonderful to just chat with other people and hear their responses.

YEM returns with an exclusive interview with Aaliyah Cinello from the show, Circuit Breakers. As of now, there is no news about the series' release of its 2nd Season, but YEM's interview with Aaliyah will offer some insight on not only the show but also her character that's set to be released in the 2nd Season.

For those who require a refresher, Circuit Breakers is a sci-fi, anthology series. The show weaves together a story of different students, where their curiosity often leads them to a bunch of troubling incidents. The series is a bit different from its other competitors, as it not only showcases a few of the daily struggles of children's lives in a sci-fi setting but also creatively utilizes technology in these children's stories. One of these characters in the show is Charley, who is portrayed by Aaliyah Cinello.

In our interview with her, we discuss a few topics of interest with Aaliyah about her role as Charley, as well as a few other ones: such as her favorite scene from the show, and what the difference is between voice work and appearing in front of a camera. One of Aaliyah's favorite scenes was when Charley and Olivia, who is portrayed by Georgia Acken, are in front of a hologram. Aaliyah expressed interest in how cool the final scene will look when it's fully rendered. When asked about voice work, Aaliyah states that it's so much different, compared to when you're in front of the camera. According to Aaliyah, you need to focus more on your facial expressions and hand movements. But when you're inside a booth, Aaliyah expresses that you need to convey the emotions through voice. Welcome back to YEM! This time, we have exclusive interviews with Savannah Lee Smith who stars as Monet de Haan, and Zión Moreno who stars as Luna La from the HBO Max show, Gossip Girl.

For those who need a refresher, this rendition of Gossip Girl is the sequel to the original show, back in 2007. This newer cast is monitored by the malicious Gossip Girl, much like the last show was. The biggest difference between the two shows, however, is the changes in both social media and New York City’s landscape.

In our interview with the two cast members, we discussed a few, different topics between the two. One of which was wondering what the process was like when filming during the cusp of COVID-19, and what protocols were taken during that time. Savannah starts by stating that everyone is tested four times a week, and when there’s going to be an intimacy scene, they used to be in a hotel. Zión also fondly remembers that they once had to use hotel rooms as well, and Savannah and Zión both state that everyone’s doing well amidst those tests. The locations were also a topic that was mentioned, and Zión stated that it was the “cherry on top” of being actors, and living in the character’s skin in different locations.
